Each year Cara changes the lives of hundreds of children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities and their families by providing vital disability support services that promote choice and participation.

Our service philosophy is based on the values of community participation and integration - an individual with a disability taking an active part in their community, making the choices they want, and living their way.

Only with the support of the community can Cara continue to provide individuals with disabilities and their families the disability support services they need to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

With your help Cara :

• Supports over 500 children and adults and their families
• Provides 25,477 hours of intensive and in-home support
• Provides families with 8,257 nights of respite in six respite houses
• Camps for Kids and Youth Getaway has provides 1,201 nights of respite for families
• Volunteers give over 31,850 hours of their time
• Has 34 accommodation and respite houses across South Australia
