Cara believes that: • All individuals/parents or advocates have the right to raise their concerns. • Individuals/parents or advocates have the right and are encouraged to make suggestions for Service Improvements. • Concerns, suggestions or complaints from individuals/parents or advocates are important in helping Cara to deliver a better service.
A Concern is anything that makes you feel: Unhappy, Worried or Unsure A Suggestion is anything you think could improve Cara’s services A Concern or Suggestion can be made by anybody, (you, your relatives or advocate) You can contact anyone at Cara with whom you feel comfortable – Or phone Cara Head Office 8347 4588 or email Cara Head Office company@admin.cara.asn.au
If You Have a Concern or a Suggestion, You Should Either:
• Tell someone • Talk to a staff member at Cara • Write a letter or Tell a friend / advocate
Cara Will:
• Listen to you • Respond to your letter or email • Tell you what action will be taken • Treat your concern confidentially • Follow up to make sure that your issues and concerns have been addressed.
If You Feel You Are Not Happy With The Outcome:
Tell someone who does not work for Cara, about your concerns, suggestions or complaints and what Cara has done so far to try to resolve the matter.
